Shahed Mahmud
Managing Director
“Shahed Mahmud started his career with MGH Group in Bangladesh where he performed a successful role in Customer Relations Development and Sales in the Logistics and Distribution Business.
He moved to United Kingdom in the year 2002 and joined WT Sea-Air Limited as a Business Development Manager for the development of the UK and Sub-continent business.
Shahed joined a very renowned multinational group in 2006 in the UK Operations to oversee warehouse and logistics operations & subsequently In 2010, he moved to Bangladesh Operations and since then he has been managing commercial and logistics operation for the group in the area of commercial matters with the Factories, Forwarders, Customs, Import & Exports, documentation, Shipping, Exceptions etc., and closely worked with the Group CFO and other CFO/FCs to facilitate commercial functions. Later, he was assigned the leadership of the multinational group’s Bangladesh operations as the Country Director and driving all Operations with success.
Shahed is a Master of Business Administration in Marketing.”
Shams Bin Quassem
Director & CEO
Shams Bin Quasem has started his carrier as Global Management Trainee of Eastern Overseas Shipping Lines ( Exclusive Agent of Malaysian International Shipping Corporation ) in 1996.
Later he jointed joined Integrated Transportation Services Ltd.- A Sister concern of MGH Group (Exclusive Agent of Panalpina World Transportation ) in 1998, and after completing 4 years of his tenure, he undertook a sabbatical to pursue higher studies in the United Kingdom.
Upon his return from the UK, Shams rejoined MGH Group as Group Head of Inbound Logistics and later became South Asia Inbound Logistics head. Later Shams was assigned as the Country Head in India between 2010-2014, and returned home to head few of MGH Group’s strategic initiatives.
August 2018 Shams has joined Transport Partner Ltd. as Director & CEO.
Shams is happily married to Dr. Nahitun Naher, a physician having a Master Degree in Public Health from Finland and been blessed with a son Neehan Shams.
